The Cotton Bowl has raised ticket prices and will search for a corporate sponsor because of a looming increase in financial guarantees for the participating teams.
Jim Brock, executive vice president of the Cotton Bowl, said that corporate sponsorship is the “No. 1 priority.” Brock said the $2.3 million guarantee for participating teams will soon reach $3 million.
Ticket prices will go from $25 to $30 for next year, Brock said.
