Pro football is out of the picture this weekend as the networks load their sports lineups with college basketball.
Among the 13 collegiate games to be shown are USC vs. Arizona State today at 3 p.m. (2), with Sunday finding Syracuse hosting Georgetown at 9 a.m. (2)(8) and UCLA visiting Arizona at 3 p.m. (2).
Pro basketball also comes along Sunday as the Lakers play in Seattle against the SuperSonics at 12:30 p.m. (2)(8).
Moving away from the arenas, NBC will carry the Bob Hope Golf Classic today and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. (4)(36)(39).
Elsewhere, “Wide World of Sports” has the Ironman Triathlon World Championship from Hawaii today at 4:30 p.m. (7)(3)(42), while “CBS Sports Sunday” counters with the World Triathlon Championship from France at 11 a.m. Sunday. (2)(8).
