Taking the Bus to Work
Recently I had an unusual adventure. I rode the RTD to work from Bel-Air to Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center for the first time. The two-hour trip cost 95 cents, but was worth a fortune in my relaxed frame of mind, opportunity to read, snooze and to watch the sunrise on Sunset. All the drivers were courteous and helpful. Many riders were “regulars” as they inquired about each other’s holiday experiences. Each stop was made within one to three minutes of its scheduled time.
Incidentally, I saved $4 in round-trip gasoline costs; I decreased air pollution and traffic congestion. There are plenty of comfortable seats waiting for you.
