Pacific Coast League : Snyder Leads Laguna Beach Comeback

Jeff Snyder scored 20 points, 9 in the fourth quarter, to lead Laguna Beach High School to a 50-47 victory over Trabuco Hills Friday night in a Pacific Coast League boys’ basketball game at Laguna Beach.
The Artists (7-8, 4-0), who made 1 of 15 shots in the first quarter, outscored the Mustangs, 23-16, in the fourth quarter for the come-from-behind victory.
Pete Schmidt made four of five free throws in the final two minutes to clinch the victory.
Jeff Barnes scored 28 points to lead Trabuco Hills (11-7, 2-2).
Woodbridge 58, Orange 25--The host Warriors (12-5, 4-0) switched to a man-to-man defense in the second quarter and outscored the Panthers, 19-3, to take a 27-7 halftime lead. Orange (4-11, 0-4) opened the game with a slow-down offense and continued to hold the ball through three quarters. Adam Keefe had 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 steals for Woodbridge, and teammate Robb Lee scored 13 points. Kevin France had nine points to lead Orange.
