Bush and Rather Squabble on the Evening News

Bully for Bush! I was delighted to see the vice president put that biased Rather in his place on CBS-TV.
The stunned expression on Rather’s face when Bush asked him how he would like to have his career judged by the seven minutes when he walked off the set in New York indicated very clearly that the rude and insulting anchorman likes to dish it out but he’d rather not take it.
This is what we need to follow President Reagan in the White House--somebody with the guts to tell these media prima donnas where to get off.
