Local News in Brief : Glendale Man Held in Traffic Accident Death

A Glendale driver has been arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter after fleeing the scene of an accident in which one person died, authorities said Sunday.
Raul A. Rosales, 21, was arrested Saturday in connection with the death of his passenger, Jose Cruz Jacquez, 24, of Glendale, said Officer Monty Keifer of the California Highway Patrol.
Rosales drove his car into a guardrail on the right shoulder of the transition road between the eastbound Santa Monica Freeway and the northbound Harbor Freeway, killing Jacquez, Keifer said. Witnesses said Rosales immediately fled on foot, Keifer said.
He was arrested four hours later in Glendale, Keifer said.
