Two Northwest banks acquired by Security Pacific Corp. of Los Angeles will change their names to reflect their new ownership. Effective Nov. 14, Oregon Bank will be known as Security Pacific Bank of Oregon and Rainier Bank will be called Security Pacific Bank of Washington. Oregon Bank President Joseph Johnson said the new name will reflect integration into a multi-state franchise that includes Washington, Oregon, Alaska, California and Arizona. Nevada will be added when Security Pacific completes its merger with Nevada Bank in January. Security Pacific operates from more than 1,500 locations around the world.
