Everest & Jennings, a Camarillo wheelchair maker, said it will expand its distribution channels through a multiyear distribution agreement valued at $60 million to $100 million with Huntco Healthcare and its Smith & Davis Manufacturing subsidiary in St. Louis.
Under the agreement, Huntco will distribute Everest & Jennings wheelchairs and scooters. Everest & Jennings in turn will make Smith & Davis beds available through its distribution channels. Smith & Davis recently announced plans to leave the wheelchair business to specialize on making beds used in long-term care.
Everest & Jennings is a subsidiary of Everest & Jennings International of West Los Angeles.
