Fred Rompelberg of Holland was hospitalized in serious but stable condition with a broken clavicle suffered while trying to set a world land speed record for bicycles on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.
It was the second time in less than 2 weeks Rompelberg’s quest for the record has put him in the hospital with a broken bone.
