Investor Group Buys More Stock in House of Fabrics

House of Fabrics announced that an investor group has acquired an additional 1.3% of its stock, bringing the group’s total stake to 1 million shares or 16.2%. The group, which includes Boston-based holding company FMR Corp., purchased 84,800 shares in August and September for prices ranging from $17.25 to $18.75 a share. House of Fabrics is a Sherman Oaks-based chain of fabric stores.
