Notre Dame Prevails in Volleyball Playoff

The Notre Dame High girls’ volleyball team outlasted Alemany, 13-15, 20-18, 15-2, 8-15, 15-10, Friday in a San Fernando Valley League third-place playoff match at Alemany.

Stephanie Burns had a team-high 22 kills for the Knights (8-7, 6-5 in league play). Dana Marasca added 11 kills for Notre Dame, which begins play in the Southern Section 4-A Division playoffs Wednesday. Match-ups and sites will be announced Monday.
