Quincy Albert Daniels of Valencia Park was identified Saturday as the man shot to death by a National City police officer at the end of a police chase in San Diego.
The San Diego County coroner’s office said the 18-year-old man was shot once in the head Friday morning by Officer John Murray after Daniels began to ram police cars in a cul-de-sac near Skyline Drive and Encinitas Avenue.
Daniels was chased by police to that location after another National City police officer reported seeing him steal a car.
