Three referees involved in Roy Jones’ controversial loss in the Olympic boxing finals at Seoul have been barred from officiating at least until March, according to the International Amateur Boxing Assn. The AIBA plans to meet then, in Nairobi, to look into the problems of the Seoul event. Jones seemed to have won the event, but the three officials--Bob Kasule of Uganda, Alberto Duran of Uruguay and Hiouad Larbi of Morocco--ruled that Park Si Hun of South Korea was the winner.
