Auto Real Culprit in Losing Quality of Life

In Orange County, prices of single-family homes have grown so outrageously that families starting out must look to Riverside, San Bernardino and north San Diego counties for homes within their price range. Thus, it becomes a vicious cycle--they are forced to drive from these distant locations to their jobs in Orange County, thus adding to the traffic problem.
One of the main culprits is the lack of a viable mass transit system anywhere in Southern California.
