A Merced County resident was killed in an accident at a cotton gin in western Fresno County. Coroner’s officials identified the victim as Sean Sullivan, 23, of Snelling. Officials said Sullivan was unloading cotton modules from a flatbed trailer at Blue Ridge Gin near Three Rocks, when he became caught between a hydraulic lift and the trailer.
