A Glendale, Ariz., firm is going public to expand sales of its ProLink System, a laser transmitter and receiver that may eliminate the need to stretch cable wires over rivers and highways, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Graycor Laser Systems Inc. has registered 100 million shares worth $1 million to raise money to increase its marketing and sales.
The ProLink System provides point-to-point transmission of cable television signals without wires for distances up to 2,500 feet, except when obstructed by fog, buildings or trees. The system may also transmit computer data and telephone signals.
At present, the company has the ProLink system operating for 75 customers throughout the nation and has begun marketing efforts in Europe.
