With Chief Joseph Terlizzese declaring “I think we know what happened up there that night,” Palm Beach, Fla., police detectives completed what may be final witness interviews in their investigation of the alleged Kennedy estate rape. Next week officers will make a recommendation on whether to file charges or dismiss the case against William Kennedy Smith, 30, nephew of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.).
