HUNTINGTON BEACH : Schools Get Money for Grad Nite Parties
- Share via
For the second consecutive year, the City Council will give $1,000 to each of the city’s four high schools for their annual drug- and alcohol-free Grad Nite parties.
By unanimous vote last week, the council said it would allocate the total of $4,000 from money seized from drug dealers by city police. Each high school--Huntington Beach High, Marina High, Edison High and Ocean View High--will get $1,000 to help finance decorations and music for their Grad Nite parties in June.
