Vito J. Guarino Jr. has resigned as president and chief operating officer of BSD Bancorp, the holding company whose principal unit is Bank of San Diego. Guarino, 54, joined the bank in 1986. He is leaving for personal reasons, including a recent death in the family, BSD Bancorp Chairman James Brown said Friday. No immediate successor has been named.
