ATI Medical Inc. in Glendale reported a $1.23-million loss for its fiscal fourth quarter ended July 31, compared to a year-earlier loss of $353,000.
ATI, which rents medical equipment to hospitals, said the latest loss came on a slight increase in the company’s revenue, to $12.5 million from $12.4 million. The loss reflected “a flattening of the medical equipment rental market” and costs related to ATI’s new home health-care ventures, the company said.
For its full fiscal year, ATI lost $1.45 million, compared to a profit of $2.38 million the previous year. Its annual revenue rose 8%, to $53.7 million from $49.7 million.
