Newport Shores Park Name Official

NEWPORT BEACH — A new park under construction in Newport Shores has officially been named the Newport Shores Park.
The neighborhood park in the West Newport community took on the official name after winning city approval earlier this week. The Parks, Beaches and Recreation Commission unanimously approved the name at a meeting last month.
The park, near the city limits on Coast Highway, is slated to be open in coming weeks but will be primarily for use by the residents in the neighborhood association.
