Women Candidates

I agree with Richard Reeves’ article (“Firing Up Woman Power,” Commentary, Oct. 23). The female representation in Congress needs to increase. The Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings brought that fact home. Our Congress is largely composed of a middle-aged, rich, mostly-white group of men, who make the decisions for a country composed of 53% females. Our perceptions and experiences are not the same. Now is the time to “just do it” and start supporting more women candidates.
