What’s all this fuss about David Duke and the Republican Party? Don’t you folks get it? The whole point of the Reagan Revolution was to make right-wing extremism not merely respectable, but de rigueur . Thanks to the Republicans, equality, justice, social conscience and personal liberty are “out”; hatemongering, privilege, greed and government encroachment on individual rights are “in.” It’s the mainstream now. In fact, it’s the American way! So come on, stop whining and get with the program!
