Pitzer College Gets $500,000 Mellon Grant

Pitzer College has received a $500,000 grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for the development of a coordinated modern language program at the Claremont Colleges.
The money will be used to design and implement a program to maximize the resources of Pitzer, Pomona, Scripps, Claremont McKenna and Harvey Mudd colleges and the Claremont Graduate School, and enhance the range of foreign languages available to students.
