LAGUNA HILLS : Plan to Widen Road to Be Considered
- Share via
Traffic relief for motorists who use heavily congested Moulton Parkway may be on the way.
The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday will consider a $907,000 project to widen a 1.3-mile stretch of Moulton Parkway at El Toro Road, near Leisure World, from two lanes to three lanes in each direction, said Mark Goodman, an aide to Supervisor Thomas F. Riley.
The plan includes adding a right-turn lane at El Toro Road.
“This is the only segment between Lake Forest Drive and Crown Valley Parkway that isn’t three lanes in each direction, and it creates quite a bottleneck,” Goodman said. The supervisors are expected to approve the road work, which would begin in February and end in early summer.
