Authorities were trying to find the parents of a 2-year-old girl who was left at a Burger King restaurant in Cudahy on Sunday.
Restaurant employees noticed at 3:30 p.m. that the girl looked lost. They told Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies that the youngster had come to the restaurant with a group of people.
The child, a Latina, was wearing a pink-and-blue flowered dress, a blue ribbon in her hair, gold loop earrings and white British Knight athletic shoes.
She was taken to the East Los Angeles sheriff’s station, and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Social Services was contacted, deputies said. Anyone with information about the girl or her parents should call deputies at (213) 974-4211.
