Vitesse Technology to Be Used in Missiles

Vitesse Semiconductor Corp., a Camarillo maker of computer circuits, said an Alabama company has developed a pair of high-speed computer circuits that use Vitesse’s gallium-arsenide technology.
Vitesse said the new devices, developed by SCI Systems Inc. of Huntsville, Ala., have the ability to receive data from several sources and put them on one high-speed wire. The circuits will be used to transmit data from guided missiles.
