Thousand Oaks 41, Westlake 26--Cory Bowen of host Thousand Oaks (8-2, 6-1) set a single-game school rushing record with 262 yards in 25 carries to eclipse the mark of 235 yards set by Marc Monestime in 1985. Bowen also scored touchdowns on runs of 10, two and 18 yards.

The teams rolled up 917 total yards (523 for Thousand Oaks, 394 for Westlake).

Quarterback Tim Kirksey kept Westlake (3-7, 2-5) close by amassing 348 yards in total offense. The senior threw for 175 yards and one touchdown, completing 17 of 31 passes, and rushed for 173 yards, including scoring runs of three, 38 and five yards.
