There’s Plenty to Catch if You Don’t Mind Rain

The Southern California weather this week has been overcast with a drizzle--”Great fishing weather!” said Jean Bryant at Silverwood Lake Marina.
Charlie Lamkin at Lake Perris agreed that adverse weather often has a positive effect on angling. “Storm fronts scatter the fish here, but when the barometer first drops, they go nuts for about 10 hours until it gets too low,” Lamkin said. “Then it’s no good.”
Bad weather also discourages many anglers, so fishing pressure is light.
