Police Seek Man Who Stole Diamond Ring

Police are looking for a man who they said stole a $3,000 ring from a store in Pacific View Mall.
The man is described as a 30- to 40-year-old Latino, 5 feet 6 and about 145 pounds. Authorities said he entered Daniel’s Jewelry at about 4 p.m. Thursday and asked to see a diamond ring. An employee handed the ring to the man, who looked at it and walked out of the store, police said. Anyone with information may call Crime Stoppers at 385-8255.
