In his Nov. 3 commentary, John Balzar writes that “at least 41 million Americans lack medical insurance.” In “PacifiCare Reports Strong Earnings” (Business, Oct. 31), you state that PacifiCare Health Systems reports strong earnings and that investors in that HMO see their stock soar.
Isn’t there something obscene about this?
