Bank Robbery Is 2nd in Area in 3 Days

A Cal Fed Bank in the 2100 block of Newbury Road in Newbury Park was robbed about 5:30 p.m. Friday by a man who claimed to have a gun, the second such incident in three days authorities said Saturday. The robber fled on foot.
A Washington Mutual Bank branch in the 3900 block of East Thousand Oaks Boulevard was robbed Wednesday by two men with nylons pulled over their heads.
