Three slide shows and lectures sponsored by the Maps to Anywhere Travel Bookstore will be held today and next Sunday at the store, 1514 N. Hillhurst Ave., Hollywood. “The Kalahari and Its Peoples” will be shown at 1:30 p.m. today and “East Africa on Safari--Kenya and Tanzania” at 1:30 p.m. and “Spectacular Sichuan--Tibetan Nomads, Pristine Wilderness and Medieval Stone Castles” at 4 p.m. next Sunday. El Camino College is offering two courses, “Cruise Ship Jobs” and “Traveling in Old London Towne,” from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at 16007 Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance.
