First American Capital Bank in Laguna Beach posted net income of $297,000 for the third quarter, a turn-around from a loss of $373,000 in the third quarter last year. Quarterly revenue tripled to $1.1 million from $360,000 last year. For the first 9 months, the bank’s net income was $487,000, contrasted with a loss of $306,000 in the same period last year. Revenue rose 27% to $2.8 million for the period from $2.2 million for the same period last year. At the end of September, the bank’s assets were $26.1 million, a 12% increase over $23.3 million in assets a year earlier. Total deposits rose 10% to $23.9 million at the end of the period from $21.7 million a year earlier, while the bank’s loan portfolio fell 7% to $16.7 million from $18 million last year.
