No Proof: A lawsuit against heavy metal rock singer Ozzy Osbourne has been dismissed by a federal judge in Macon, Ga., who ruled that a couple cannot prove their teen-age son’s suicide was caused by listening repeatedly to Osbourne’s music. U.S. District Judge Duross Fitzpatrick also ruled the music is free expression protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution. Thomas and Myra Walker contended in a $9-million suit that their son Michael, 16, committed suicide in 1986 after repeatedly listening to “Suicide Solution” from Osbourne’s “Blizzard of Oz” album.
