A man in his mid-30s was seriously injured when he apparently stepped into the path of a San Diego Trolley car, police said Sunday.
Robert Westley, address unknown, was standing on a curb near 4th Avenue and C Street on Saturday night when he made eye contact with the trolley driver and then stepped into the trolley’s path, police said.
Westley was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he was in serious condition Sunday.
