HUNTINGTON BEACH : Performers Sought for Pier Celebration
- Share via
The city is seeking musicians, comics, dancers, mimes, face painters and other entertainers from the area to perform next year at a two-day celebration to mark the opening of the new municipal pier.
The old structure, built in 1914, was closed almost four years ago after it was battered by fierce storms. Its replacement has been under construction for a year and is expected to cost $11.7 million and open in the spring.
Anyone interested in participating can call Diana Peters before Dec. 1 at (213) 592-4171.
