FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Advisory About Scheduled Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach areas this week.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

Cerritos: Westbound on-ramp at Bloomfield Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; ditch cleaning.

Cerritos: Westbound on-ramp at Norwalk Boulevard; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday; ditch cleaning.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

Los Angeles: Northbound No. 4 lane from Florence Avenue to Slauson Avenue; 7 to 10:30 a.m. today; survey work.

Los Angeles: Southbound No. 4 lane from Slauson Avenue to Manchester Avenue; 3 to 10:30 a.m. today; survey work.

LAKEWOOD BOULEVARD (State Highway 19)

Bellflower: Northbound and southbound alternating lanes at Artesia Boulevard; 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday; stenciling.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

Bell: Southbound No. 4 lane from Atlantic Boulevard to Slauson Avenue, plus the Atlantic Boulevard on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; landscaping.

Bell Gardens: Southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes from Florence Avenue to the Los Angeles River; 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday; marker repair.

East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes from Humphreys Avenue to Leonis Street, and the connector road from the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) to the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday; marker repair.

Various cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes between Humphreys Avenue and the Los Angeles River; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

Industry: Westbound No. 4 lane from 7th Avenue to Crossroads Parkway, plus the 7th Avenue on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

Cerritos: Southbound alternating lanes at the South Street off-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday; stenciling.

Lakewood: Southbound off-ramp at Carson Street; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday; ditch cleaning.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

East Los Angeles: Southbound off-ramp at Indiana Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; guardrail repair.

East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 5 lane from Ditman Avenue to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710), plus the Triggs Street on-ramp, Ditman Street on-ramp and Olympic Boulevard off-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

Norwalk: Southbound No. 4 lane from Orr & Day Road to Pioneer Boulevard; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.
