Georgia Tech Coach Bobby Ross is coming to San Diego on Monday. Charger General Manager Bobby Beathard continues to court Ross as the “leading candidate” to become the team’s new coach. “I want to make sure; I want them to be sure, too,” Ross said Friday. “I want to go out and see the situation firsthand.”
Beathard said he will continue to speak with other candidates and maintained again Friday that the Chargers will not hire a head coach before Jan. 1.
